The NEW NC4600W features both the NEW MPEG4 Video & Audio Compression Technology and the NEW commercial grade 400mW Integrated 802.11b/g Wireless System for professional & personal use. The MPEG4 technology provides the camera with faster video imaging for motion, less network bandwidth usage and a higher quality image. The wireless performance is unmatched in its category, and not found in any other wireless camera system. It is over 5 times more powerful than most wireless cameras and comes with a 7db whip antenna to reach out even further. This camera uses a new video & audio compression technology that uses less bandwidth thus providing faster imagery and room for more cameras on the network. The NC4600W system includes most of the standard features found in the NC1600 system but with a new software look and feel, less video & audio bandwidth demands and 802.11b/g wireless communication ability to your Ethernet network.

Combining these innovative technologies together make the NC4600W camera the most versatile outdoor camera on the market today. The MPEG4 technology efficiently utilizes the wireless bandwidth to allow for faster frames per second and/or more cameras. It is the first completely integrated 400mW 802.11b/g Outdoor Wireless Camera unit. Along with high output power, it features an advanced receiver design incorporating strong sensitivity and noise immunity performance. Additional features include secondary LAN interface, serial port, signal strength LED's, and a custom heatsink allowing performance over extended temperature ranges while inside compact enclosures. The wireless software has a user-friendly, intuitive interface which makes the overall product a simple, reliable, and powerful wireless camera solution. The unit is supplied by a 12VDC POE (Power over Ethernet) device for easier software configuration & power delivery. The camera is supplied with a 7db whip antenna and uses an industry standard antenna connector if a higher antenna gain is needed. The communication range and speed/bandwidth will vary from 50 feet @ 54Mbs to 1-2 miles @ 1Mbs depending on the antenna used, the amount & material of objects in the line of site and the power of the receiving wireless device.
